SolTroia is located on the Troia Peninsula which settlement dates back to the Romans when Troia was still an island. It is formed between the Atlantic Ocean and the Sado River.

How to get to SolTroia from Lisbon airport

Cross by ferry

Take Vasco da Gama Bridge or 25 de Abril Bridge, direction Setúbal (45 min.)

At Setúbal, take the ferryboat (crossing takes about 25 min). SolTroia is located 5 min. from the Ferry dock.

Travel by road

Take Vasco da Gama Bridge or 25 de Abril Bridge, direction Alcácer do Sal.

Then, continue in direction of Comporta, all the way up to the Tróia Penninsula (150kms, approx. 1h30).

The Beach

At 5 min walking distance from Villa Sequoia

But you can also go by car and park there. Use the provided label in order to avoid paying the parking fee. Please, return the label at the end of your stay.

The beach has a paid service with umbrellas that can be hired for the day, but also a huge free zone — this is indeed one of the longest beaches of Europe and it's 4th most beautiful! Enjoy ;-)

Kindly note that the ocean's temperature is cold: around 17º.
